The new Award for Education Business Excellence Standard was approved by DCSF in May 2008. The DfE website provides other links to work-related learning and the developing national agenda.

The sub-menu items on the left of the screen provide access to the details for the Award. Alternatively, click the following links to download the Quality Standard and the accompanying Guidelines. These documents give full details of the whole quality process leading to accreditation. An organisation wishing to gain national recognition under this scheme can see the Criteria they will have to meet in order to qualify, and the Guidelines set out the type of evidence they will need to produce to meet the requirements. There are also details of the charging structure and how the models work in practice.
